About The Position
Summer Help workers are needed to assist with seasonal maintenance tasks for the Public Works Department. This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working outdoors and contributing to your community.
Requirements
- Valid Oregon Driver License (ODL)
- Ability to pass a drug screen (including marijuana)
Responsibilities
- Mowing and weed trimming
- Operating equipment (mowers, weed eaters, chain saws, edgers)
- Sweeping streets and sidewalks
- Shoveling gravel and dirt
- Painting curbs, streets, and fire hydrants
- Hand washing vehicles
- General maintenance and other assigned tasks
