About The Position

Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm Job Description: Accurately sort, process and deliver inbound USPS and Interoffice Mail. Identify, separate, and run outbound first class, presort and priority USPS Mail via postage meter. Monitor postage usage and refill postage meter as needed. Operate Folder/Inserter for outbound mail. Manage supplies and mail center inventory. Maintain a clean work area that promotes safety and professionalism. Maintain employee database and mail lists as needed. Must adhere to strict company confidentiality rules. Communicate with manager regarding weekly volumes delivered and received. Must be adaptable to changing needs and company growth. Attention to detail, professionalism and flexibility are critical for the success of this operation. Candidates interested in this role must possess a high degree of all three. Must adhere to company EHS rules on work sites.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of standard Mail Center operations and processing practices, shipping providers and standard shipping systems used i.e., USPS, UPS, FedEx, etc.
  • Ability to organize, track inbound and outbound mail via standard tracking software systems.
  • Basic understanding of Microsoft Office Software (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to prioritize workload as needed to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent customer service skills. Ability to resolve customer concerns effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and electronic).
  • Working as part of a team is a must.
