About The Position
The Summer Day Camp Counselor will provide a safe fun-filled environment for children aged 5-12. The Counselor will plan, implement, and supervise indoor and outdoor activities at the Kenosha YMCA. These activities are to be utilized to provide adventure and enjoyment and develop new skills and interests in children. The Day Camp Staff is responsible for the health and safety of children in the program and for maintaining a professional attitude and relationship with parents; and helping the kids have a “Summer Adventure to Remember!”
Requirements
- Must be 21 years or older (18 years or older for an assistant teacher position).
- Must meet state requirement for Child Care Teacher.
- Provide proof of current First Aid and CPR Certification.
- Experience working with children
