About The Position

The Department of Atlanta Information Management (AIM) is seeking interns for its 2026 Summer College Internship Program. Requirements

  • Currently attending college.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Proficient in planning, organization, presentation, verbal, and written communication.
  • Ability to quickly assimilate new information into a work process to achieve the desired objective outcome.
  • Ability to independently collect information needed and transpose it into a finished product.

Nice To Haves

  • Some knowledge of specific professional functions to which assigned, e.g. Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Business Administration, Human Resources, User Experience Design, Data Analytics, Project Management, Accounting, etc.

Responsibilities

  • Performs various and diverse administrative and/or project duties depending on specific department and job assignment.
  • Engages in on-the-job training on operational policies and work procedures to attain the necessary talents that allow the incumbent to contribute to the work being produced by the organizational unit to which assigned.
  • Collects information/data.
  • Performs research, compiles information, and prepares reports and documentation.
  • May prepare presentations for staff members.
  • Attends project team meetings.
  • May do filing and other clerical duties in addition to administrative/project assignments.
