This short-term seasonal opportunity is perfect for retirees who enjoy staying busy and active, college students home for the summer, evening workers looking to supplement income, or anyone who enjoys hands-on, independent work. You’ll work inside K-12 school buildings helping teachers prepare classrooms for summer relocation projects. This includes packing and organizing the entire contents of special education classrooms and other learning spaces.
Requirements
- Reliable transportation to and from school locations
- NYS fingerprint/background check
- Dependable, punctual, and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working in school settings
- Comfortable standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout the day
- Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
Responsibilities
- Packing classroom supplies, materials, and equipment into boxes
- Labeling and organizing packed materials carefully
- Moving desks, chairs, bins, and classroom items
- Working independently while staying on task
- Maintaining a professional and respectful presence in school environments
