About The Position
Camp Windy Meadows is seeking enthusiastic individuals to become Summer Camp Volunteers and help Girl Scouts dream big and experience the outdoors. As a volunteer, you will play a crucial role in bringing summer programs to girls in Western New York, fostering their courage, confidence, and character through camp life. Our camps operate from late June through mid-August, and volunteers can commit to as many or as few days as they are available. This is an unpaid voluntary position. A criminal and sex offender background check will be required.
Requirements
- Must be willing to undergo a criminal and sex offender background check.
- Must be comfortable with the application system being primarily set up for employee applications and marking non-pertaining areas as 'N/A'.
Responsibilities
- Help bring summer programs to girls during the summer camp season.
- Provide opportunities for girls to experience camp life.
- Assist in building girls' courage, confidence, and character.
