About The Position

We are looking for smart, creative, dynamic instructors from all backgrounds to teach LEGO classes and camps where students are introduced to a range of STEM concepts while being given the tools to unlock their creativity and their problem-solving skills. This role involves working with children, using LEGO materials to teach STEM concepts, and ensuring a fun and engaging learning environment.

Requirements

Reliable transportation is a must.
Secure location to store teaching materials.
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs to store and transport materials.
Ability to perform bending, stooping, and crawling with children during class instruction.
Must pass all background checks as a condition of employment.

Nice To Haves

Teaching/Instruction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Teach LEGO classes and camps, introducing STEM concepts and fostering creativity and problem-solving skills.
Manage class sessions, ensuring children are safe, engaged, and having fun.
Communicate with parents and clients in a knowledgeable, respectful, and tactful manner.
Adhere to all safety procedures for supervision and release of children.
Care for, safeguard, and maintain assigned LEGO teaching kits.
Respond quickly to communications from management.
Regularly communicate with Area Manager with questions, concerns, and updates.
Complete all training programs as required by the Area Manager.
Understand the curriculum and concepts thoroughly to provide value to participants with diverse abilities and interests.
Serve as a representative of Play-Well in a positive and professional manner.
