About The Position

The Little Gym of Mountain View is seeking a dynamic team member for their Summer Camps. This role involves working within an established and unique camp curriculum, allowing for creativity, fun ideas, and positivity. A key part of the job is providing encouragement and positive reinforcement to campers. Two positions are available: one with availability from 8:45 am to 1:15 pm, Monday-Friday (20-30 hours per week), and another from 12:45 pm to 5:15 pm, Monday-Friday (20-30 hours per week), with the option to fill in on Saturdays and Sundays. The Little Gym is a premier enrichment and physical development center for children aged 4 months to 12 years, using movement-based learning and imaginative play to build confidence and skills. For over 40 years, their trained instructors have nurtured happy, confident kids through various programs including camps.

Requirements

Background in gymnastics, dance, sports, child development, or education.
Ability to lead by example and inspire children and team members.
Ability to build rapport with children and their parents.
Enjoy making arts and crafts.
Ability to have fun while also getting work done.
Availability for either 8:45 am-1:15 pm or 12:45 pm-5:15 pm, Monday-Friday.
Willingness to work 20-30 hours per week.
Option to fill in on Saturdays and Sundays.

Responsibilities

Coordinate all aspects of summer camps, including organizing weekly curriculum, coordinating equipment and supplies, and preparing crafts and activities for each weekly theme.
Lead amazing camps based on the company's proven curriculum and teaching method.
Lead and work with a dynamic team of teachers to provide an unforgettable camp experience for children ages 3-12 years old.
Provide outstanding customer service and camp experience, treating campers and their grown-ups like family.
Maintain a safe, clean, and fun environment where children can be themselves.
