About The Position

Palmetto Bluff Club is looking for camp counselors to make the most of the summer. Counselors should be energetic, responsible, dependable, and enjoy the outdoors. As a summer camp counselor at Palmetto Bluff, you get the opportunity to care for and guide campers each day in learning new games, developing social skills, exploring arts and crafts, diving into nature, embracing team spirit, and simply embracing the excitement of summer!

Requirements

• Comfortable working with children.
• High School or equivalent is required.
• Must have excellent customer service skills.
• High-energy and have the ability to work in a team environment.
• Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
• Must be able to read and write to facilitate the communication process.
• Requires good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Must possess basic computational ability.
• Must possess basic computer skills.

Nice To Haves

• CPR/ First Aid Certified Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leading and/or assisting with various camp activities.
• Always maintaining a safe atmosphere for campers.
• Preparing camp supplies daily to ensure efficient time management.
• Providing exceptional customer service.
• Cleaning up/ breaking down activities at the end of the day.
