About The Position

As a YMCA Summer Camp Counselor you are responsible for the successful implementation and delivery of our camp activities. This is a seasonal position that starts at the end of May and runs through mid-August. Invitations to participate in the preliminary on-line video interview will be sent by email.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• At least 18 years of age.
• Experience with outdoor recreation, songs/music, skits, sports, aquatics, games, etc.
• Ability to work effectively work with people of different backgrounds, abilities, opinions and perceptions.
• Comprehensive background check for all employees who work with children and youth.

Nice To Haves

• 1-year experience working with children in a day camp setting preferred.
