About The Position
Vivvi is reinventing child care and early learning for today’s families and creating opportunities for teachers and caregivers to do what they love (and feel valued while they’re doing it). Become a part of the Vivvi team as a Camp Counselor and provide excellent care and enrichment for school-aged children, while pursuing your own professional growth and development. The camp will take place during the weeks of August 11th and August 18th, Mon-Fri., 7:30am-6pm.
Requirements
- Flexible & communicative team player who's passionate about working with school-aged learners
- Value and create trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Understanding of core child development concepts
- Dynamic and creative in their approach to leading and can come up with activities in a pinch
- Conscientious, with a strong ability to learn and follow health & safety policies and other rules and procedures
- Embrace positive behavior management; are able to lead a group with empathy and fun
- Based in or willing to relocate to Elon, N.C.
- Independent US work authorization
Responsibilities
- Lead activities and enrichment for children ages 5-12
- Provide careful supervision for a cohort of up to 10 children
- Create an environment that is safe, positive and inclusive
- Engage with and enrich children using positive language, loving care, and interactive play
- Adhere to robust health and safety protocols
