About The Position
Chess Wizards is seeking energetic individuals to teach chess in summer camps for Summer 2026. The role involves an interactive day-camp format with a variety of activities designed to keep children physically and mentally engaged. Activities include team chess games, puzzles, skill-building, and physical games, integrating the whole person into the camp experience. A typical day may involve exploring chess concepts, engaging in fun group challenges, enjoying a healthy snack, participating in a mini-tournament, and engaging in physical activities and camp games.
Requirements
- Willingness to teach through fun and innovative methods.
- Must be safety and security conscious.
- Ability to respond to emergency situations.

- Ability to make chess fun for kids of all ages.
Responsibilities
- Assist Chess Instructors in teaching chess to campers.
- Create a safe, supportive, stimulating, and fun environment for campers.
- Interact with campers, providing supervision for daily activities such as recreational games.
- Assist in drop-off and pick-up of campers.
- Assist with daily set-up and clean-up of the camp.
- Supervise campers.
