About The Position

The Summer Bike Mechanic position is responsible for maintenance and repair work on rental fleet and customer bikes. They also provide front-line customer service by properly selecting and setting up rental equipment for guests. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to inspecting bikes as they get returned to determine tuning needs, maintaining protective equipment, and documenting equipment inspections. Requirements

• Customer service experience
• Capable of standing for extended periods of time
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work flexible work schedules that may include weekends and holidays
• Self-starter, ability to work with high standards without supervision
• High safety standards
• Attention to detail
• Bike repair experience minimum 2 years
• Basic cashiering skills
• Passion for winter and summer sports

Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repair work on rental fleet and customer bikes.
• Provide front-line customer service by properly selecting and setting up rental equipment for guests.
• Inspecting bikes as they get returned to determine tuning needs.
• Maintaining protective equipment.
• Documenting equipment inspections.
• Provide a high level of customer service.
• Must be proactive and take ownership of situations while anticipating and responding to guest needs and wants.
• Responsible for proper setup and maintenance of rental equipment.
• Inspect and document equipment.
• Provide daily maintenance on rental equipment.
• Provide accurate cashiering.
