About The Position

The Summer Bells Connect and 1st Gen Intern will work within the Office for Multicultural and International. This intern will collaborate closely with the Director of Multicultural Student Services & International students on research, support, development, and implementation of initiatives aimed at enhancing support for the First Gen student community at Saint Mary's College. The role involves independent research and idea development, as well as campus collaboration with various partners. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving the overall experience and support for all First Gen college students, with a particular interest in equity in education and creating inclusive campus spaces.

Requirements

First-generation college student
Sophomore or junior year
Interest in supporting, creating, and implementing First Gen initiatives on campus
Interest in improving the First Gen campus experience

Responsibilities
