About The Position

DiCello Levitt LLP is seeking 1L or 2L law students for a meaningful summer associate experience in their Birmingham, AL location. This program offers the opportunity to work on real cases and projects in collaboration with attorneys across various practice areas. Participants will benefit from on-the-job development, group mentoring, relevant training, and local social activities. The firm aims to build long-term relationships with students who are interested and available to continue as part-time law clerks during the 2027-2028 academic year, working on active litigation beyond the summer. The summer program runs for 10 weeks with multiple start dates between May 17 and August 13, 2027. The part-time clerkship will commence after Labor Day and conclude in mid-May.

Requirements

  • 1L or 2L law student.

  • Open mindset to take on significant responsibilities.
  • Available to continue working as a law clerk during the academic year (for Birmingham location).
