About The Position
The DBL Law Summer Associate Program provides mentorship and in-depth experience across all our practice areas. This includes direct contact with clients, exposure to the court system (observing closings, depositions, trials, arbitrations, mediations & oral arguments), significant legal research and writing, and professional development and networking opportunities with clients and attorneys. Participants will receive continuous project feedback and formal performance evaluations.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in law school and entering the second year (2L) in Summer 2027.
Responsibilities
- Direct contact with clients.
- Exposure to the court system, including observing closings, depositions, trials, arbitrations, mediations & oral arguments.
- Significant legal research and writing.
- Professional development and networking opportunities with clients and attorneys.
