About The Position

Citi's Global Functions business division is looking for driven Associates to join the Corporate Finance team in the US. Our Financial Management Associate (FMA) internship program is designed to accelerate your career by giving you exposure to Corporate Finance, helping you discover your best-fit path at Citi. Citi offers significant opportunities for career growth and internal mobility. The FMA Program is a global leadership development program for Masters and MBA grads, built to create a pipeline of future Corporate Finance leaders. Summer FMAs will have the opportunity to work closely with senior managers in key disciplines including Controllers, Treasury, Financial Planning & Analysis, Tax, and business-aligned Chief Finance Offices. The Summer FMA program is unique due to the various product/function/legal entity perspectives FMAs experience. The program is ten weeks in length; allowing FMAs to work on challenging projects designed to test skills while providing a learning opportunity and adding value. The Summer FMA Program is a significant feeder pool for the Full-Time FMA Program. The program consists of roles that are identified and aligned with Citi Finance objectives, structured for completion within a two-month time frame, report to Finance professionals that can provide appropriate leadership direction, and provide the candidate with a variety of development opportunities and skills. As an FMA, you'll help drive Citi Finance's 4 priorities: champion financial performance & strategic execution, generate value & optimize resources, accelerate finance transformation & controls, and develop our people & culture — all while enjoying: Senior Access – Exposure to Citi's senior Corporate Finance leaders who guide your growth, Global Reach – Build a network of relationships across the global Citi Finance community, Leadership – Sharpen your management skills through rotational responsibility, Responsibility – High impact work aligned with Citi’s growth strategy, Empowerment – FMAs are challenged to become involved in the fast-paced analytical and dynamic financial environment. Summer associates will receive an orientation to Citi, including business overviews from senior leaders across the firm. Training will highlight current topics in the banking industry, technical finance and accounting skills, and communication and presentation skills. Summer associates will also be matched with mentors who can offer guidance and support throughout the program. As summer associates, your day-to-day duties will vary depending on your placement.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing an MBA or Master's degree in Accounting, Financial Strategy, Finance, Economics, or other related fields
• Excited about building a career in Corporate Finance
• Bring at least 3 years of significant, related full-time professional experience
• Graduating between December 2027 – June 2028
• Won't require sponsorship for U.S. work authorization or at time of hire

• Professional certifications such as CPA, CFA, FRM, or multilingual capabilities are considered a plus, but are not required.
