About The Position

We are seeking a Summer Assistant Teacher / Floater to join our team for the summer months! This position is ideal for college students pursuing education degrees , future teachers, or individuals interested in gaining experience in a licensed early childhood classroom setting . As a Summer Assistant Teacher / Floater, you will support multiple classrooms and work alongside lead teachers to help create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment for young children. Position Details: Seasonal summer position Full-time schedule: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Experience working in a licensed childcare center Opportunity to gain hands-on classroom experience with preschool-aged children Great fit for elementary education majors or students exploring careers in teaching Why This Position Is Valuable: This role provides meaningful hands-on experience in an early childhood setting and is a great opportunity for future educators to build classroom confidence and learn from experienced teachers. Responsibilities

  • Assist teachers with classroom activities and transitions
  • Support supervision of children to ensure safety at all times
  • Help prepare materials for learning centers and projects
  • Step into classrooms as needed throughout the school
  • Encourage positive interactions and engagement with children
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom spaces
