About The Position
We are looking for someone to join our year round team for summer camp and after school care!
Requirements
- Candidate must meet driving requirements: over 21, driving for 5 or more years, good driving record.
- Experience working with children in a camp or childcare setting
- Strong childcare skills and knowledge of childhood development
- Ability to manage a large group of children and handle behaviors in a kind and positive manner
- Ability to work with other counselors to provide excellent care
Nice To Haves
- Certification in CPR/First Aid and MAT is a bonus (training will be provided to those who do not have their certification)
Responsibilities
- Driving for offsite activities such as swimming and field trips and participating in swimming
- Flexibility to work with any age group from Kindergarten through 7th grade
- Supporting snacks, meals, outside time, and activities throughout the day
- Interacting with children in a positive and meaningful way
- Actively participating and engaging in play and activities
- Helping to give students and campers the best day, every day!
