About The Position

This internship program offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in private wealth management. Interns will prepare financial analyses, complete a rotational program through various teams, and contribute to client-specific projects. The program is designed for students looking to learn and grow professionally in the multi-family office business.

Requirements

  • Must be an active Junior or Senior college student working towards a bachelor's degree in business, accounting or finance from an accredited university or college
  • Graduation date on or before May 2028
  • Minimum GPA of 3.3 (overall)
  • Strong financial analytical skills and understanding of basic financial concepts
  • Desire to learn and grow professionally in the personal wealth management/multi-family office business
  • Experience using Windows based software, including Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Availability to work 40 hours a week at our Dallas Highland Park office for the 10-week program

Responsibilities

  • Prepare financial analyses for various personal wealth management topics, including investments, estate planning, tax planning, debt management and insurance.
  • Complete rotational program by rotating through a minimum of three of the following teams: Client Advisory Team, Investment Team, Philanthropy Team, Trust Team, Private Banking Team.
  • Update client financial information (balance sheets, quarterly reporting information, reallocations, etc.).
  • Complete various client-specific projects such as real estate evaluations, private equity evaluations, personalized investment research, private aviation research, and other projects on an as-needed basis.
  • Learn TWM’s investment strategies, review current and potential asset managers, compile and analyze historical financial data, and conduct quantitative and graphical analyses.
  • Track and analyze historical client philanthropic giving, perform due diligence on charities of client interest, and learn fundamentals of charitable planning.
  • Learn essentials of trust administration and operations, including standard estate planning documents such as wills, trust agreements, and powers of attorney.
  • Learn about banking and lending needs for bank clients including mortgage loans, business loans, lines of credit, and deposit accounts.
