About The Position

The Investment Banking Summer Analyst will play an important role on the firm’s advisory team, supporting an appropriately staffed team in a broad range of transactions including mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings, royalty monetizations and capital markets transactions. Summer Analysts can expect to receive a higher level of responsibility and deal execution experience than at peer institutions.

• College juniors (rising seniors, graduating December 2028 or May 2029)

Responsibilities

• Conducting company and industry research
• Performing financial and valuation analyses
• Creating business profiles
• Preparing industry overviews on subsectors within the healthcare industry
• Creating detailed financial models used for valuation and other financial analysis (DCF, LBO, M&A, accretion/dilution, comparable company and transaction analysis)
• Preparing marketing documents, including pitch materials, confidential offering memoranda, management presentations, fairness opinions and board presentations
• Conducting extensive financial and industry due diligence to evaluate the risk/return parameters of a transaction
