About The Position

QuadReal Property Group is a global real estate investment, development, and operating company. They are seeking a Summer Analyst, International Real Estate Investments to join their team in Summer 2027. This is a junior professional role based in Santa Monica, reporting to the Associate, International Real Estate. The role actively supports the Americas Team in developing and executing the Americas Real Estate Strategic Plan. The Summer Analyst will contribute by analyzing the current investment portfolio, conducting due diligence on investment programs and partners, and providing recommendations to senior team members to enhance portfolio performance. To be eligible, students must be enrolled in post-secondary studies and returning to school after the work term. Requirements

• Completing a university degree with a major in Real Estate, Finance, Mathematics/Statistics, Computer Science or Economics.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills; detail-oriented and proficient in building and handling complicated data sets.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; demonstrate an ability to effectively communicate and present results that articulate key themes and messages.
• Must be able to allocate time effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines, handle multiple demands and competing priorities, and adapt to new ideas and change.
• Must have advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Must be extremely proactive and work well in a collaborative environment, with the ability to take guidance but then move projects forward independently.
• Embrace and proactively support QuadReal’s values and its culture of environmental sustainability and corporate and social responsibility.
• A strong interest in developing a career within real estate is essential.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Argus Enterprise is a plus.
• Familiarity with AI-enabled tools to support research, analysis, or productivity is considered an asset.
• Previous experience working with a real estate company (asset manager or developer), real estate brokerage or advisory firm, appraisal firm, or real estate lender is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Underwriting real estate investment opportunities in both asset and corporate level structures across all property types.
• Authoring and contributing to investment memoranda and supporting investment committee discussions.
• Building and updating complex financial models to analyze new and existing investments.
• Performing confirmatory due diligence for both asset and corporate level structures.
• Monitoring and updating the investment pipeline.
• Interpreting financial analysis results and identifying key investment merits and risks.
• Supporting real estate portfolio management activities including evaluation of portfolio performance, regular investment monitoring calls, third-party meetings with partners and consultants, reviewing annual capital plans, and reviewing quarterly and annual valuations.
• Keeping current on major political and economic events that impact real estate investments internationally.
