About The Position

Rockefeller Capital Management offers a distinctive Summer Analyst Program experience as a premier independent financial advisory firm. Our diversified businesses, boutique size, and entrepreneurial culture shape a dynamic, personalized experience for our Analysts. Our Summer Analyst program is a ten-week (June-August) internship program designed to provide an opportunity to experience the culture and atmosphere of Rockefeller Capital Management. Summer Analysts will be fully immersed in the day-to-day activities of the business providing opportunities to learn, grow, and excel. Key highlights of the program include: Mentorship program to support learning and development. Weekly speaker series to promote a deep understanding of the firm, our culture and share personal perspectives from employees. Intensive training on our business model and how employees of the firm contribute to achieving our goals. Frequent connectivity with other Summer Analysts and our program team. Round table discussions on current events with macro and micro relevance to our business. Opportunities to exchange ideas and network with peers, mentors, and senior leaders throughout the firm. To be eligible for consideration, students must be projected 2028 graduates and in good standing at the school. Analysts should have an interest in the financial services industry and be eager to learn and make an impact. Rockefeller Global Investment Management is seeking a Summer Analyst to support the Distribution Team. The Summer Analyst will assist with the Americas distribution, marketing and client service efforts across all our team’s constituents: Global Private Banks, Pensions, Multi/Single Family Offices, Insurance, Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), etc., and internally with our marketing and product specialist teams.

Requirements

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, or a related field, on track to graduate in 2028.
  • Strong academic record and a demonstrated interest in the financial services industry.
  • Interest in asset/wealth management, investment distribution, or capital markets.
  • Prior internship, coursework, or project experience involving data analysis or financial services is a plus.
  • Available for the full ten-week (June–August) program during standard business hours.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, and the aptitude to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Exposure to (or eagerness to learn) Salesforce CRM — data entry, reporting, and dashboards.
  • Strong analytical and quantitative skills; able to turn raw data into clear, decision-ready reports.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication; able to draft advisor-facing materials and deliver a crisp fund pitch.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Self-starter who works well independently and collaboratively across a distribution team.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior internship, coursework, or project experience involving data analysis or financial services is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Support Salesforce implementation and data integration by logging team, advisor, and client interactions; participate in product launch calls and client events.
  • Consolidate Salesforce engagement data into informative reports on trends that shape marketing plans and capital-raising strategy.
  • Produce a consolidated performance report for all drawdown funds launched on the platform, organized by asset class.
  • Analyze the 3–5 year track record of co-mingled funds to evaluate manager performance by asset class.
  • Learn the end-to-end process for launching a new product, including the materials required at launch.
  • Partner on one new strategy: create a summary email and education materials for advisors and articulate a concise fund-strategy pitch highlighting key selling points.
  • Utilize AI tools to streamline workflows and consolidate team data to support fundraising initiatives.
