Summer 2027 Internship - Insurance and Risk Management
About The Position
Associated Agencies is seeking driven individuals for their 2027 internship program. This 10-week program is based in Rolling Meadows, Illinois, and offers hands-on experience in Commercial Insurance Lines – Middle Market, Personal Insurance Lines, Life Insurance Lines, and Group Benefit Insurance Lines. Interns will play a valuable role in departmental functions and activities, reporting to experienced team members. The program includes departmental overview training, career development training (online and classroom-style), mentorship with leadership team members, and various engagement events.
Requirements
- Rising Juniors or Seniors, with an expected graduation year of 2028 or 2029.
- Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program with a major in Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, and Business Administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem solving and project management skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple deadlines effectively.
Responsibilities
- Play a valuable role in the department’s functions and activities.
- Report to an experienced team member within their respective department.
- Participate in departmental overview training.
- Engage in career development training, including online modules and classroom sessions.
- Participate in mentorship programs and connect with Associated Leadership Team Members.
- Attend various engagement events.
