About The Position

Kenworth Division of PACCAR is looking for a highly motivated individual who is interested in gaining professional Human Resource and Recruiting experience in an industry-leading manufacturing company to join our 2026 Internship Program in Kirkland, WA. Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program pursuing a degree in HR, Business, or other related fields.

Responsibilities

  • Support recruiting efforts which may include:
  • Partnering with Recruiters on job requisition creation and closure
  • Sourcing external and internal candidates through our applicant tracking system (SAP SuccessFactors)
  • Coordinate and schedule candidate phone screens and interviews
  • Communicate updates between Recruiters, Hiring Managers and Candidates
  • Support various hiring projects, such as strategizing sourcing talent pipeline (via LinkedIn and alternative sourcing methods)
  • Lead special HR projects to further the goals of the organization; participate in planning, project development, and problem solving
  • Respond to routine employee inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, payroll, leave, and other general employment questions
  • Lead and/or assist in coordinating division employee engagement activities such as annual Health & Wellness Fair, Summer Family Day and Intern Events
  • Provide HRIS data entry support
  • Assist with candidate onboarding and new hire orientation
  • File and perform audits on employee files
  • Continuously improve our existing processes
  • Provide breaks and coverage to the front desk
