Food expediters lead the facilitation of food orders between the suites and the kitchen. Making sure that food is cooked in the right order, quickly, and presented to the guests efficiently. Responsibilities
- Facilitate food orders between suites and kitchen.
- Ensure food is cooked in the correct order and quickly.
- Ensure food is presented to guests efficiently.
- Ensure food orders are properly labeled with the right accompaniments.
- Oversee all runners.
- Work directly with the lead chef to ensure meals are executed and delivered to proper suites.
- Act as the main lead and contact to all pantry coordinators.
- Ensure event timeline is met while overseeing hot pushes and cold pushes.
- Assign food runners to specific tasks.
- Follow Wage and Hour regulations.
- Maintain a pleasant attitude towards co-workers and management.
- Possess excellent customer service skills.
