About The Position
Delaware North Sportservice is hiring part-time Suite Runners to join our team at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. As a Suite Runner, you will be responsible for quickly responding to changing needs within the suites. This is a fast-paced role offering opportunity and potential to learn where your efforts are rewarded. Please note this is a tipped position; the hourly minimum pay listed doesn’t include any potential tipped earnings.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a runner or busser
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities
- Take note of relevant information during pre-shift briefing, including service scheduling and guest notes
- Coordinate with chef and kitchen staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery of food
- Maintain a comprehensive knowledge of all menu items, ingredients, and preparations
- Assist kitchen with the presentation of courses, explaining any relevant missing menu items
- Verify kitchen and dining room cleanliness at all times and assist in counting china, glass, silver, and linen
