About The Position

ESP Associates, Inc., is currently seeking a SUE Technician to join our team in Greensboro, NC. This is an opportunity for an experienced utility locator to further their career working within a dynamic and growing Engineering, Surveying and Planning firm. ESP is a multi-discipline engineering design and consulting firm providing our clients with civil engineering, surveying, planning/landscape architecture, geosciences, environmental, subsurface utility engineering, and construction engineering inspection. Requirements

• 2+ years field experience in utility locating
• Experience with Trimble data collection, GPS receivers, and robotic total stations required
• Computer skills involved in the submittal of daily files including downloading of data, preparation/organization of field sketches & digital photographs, completion of daily checklists & timesheets, and vehicle navigation are required
• Must be able to pass a drug screen, background check, and have a satisfactory driving record in accordance with the company's driving (MVR) policy

Nice To Haves

• Experience in land surveying preferred
• Previous experience interpreting utility records, designating utilities and field sketching required, preferably in an engineering design environment
• Previous construction experience preferred
• Various types of SUE skills and utility mapping experience are a plus
• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Navigation programs and Trimble Data Transfer a plus
