Zepf Center has been serving the Lucas County community for over 50 years and is the leading provider of behavioral health and substance use disorder services in Northwest Ohio. Services include adult and child psychiatric, substance abuse, case management, residential, Crisis Care, and therapy programs, as well as career development and wellness services. Zepf Center also offers primary care medical services to our patients to contribute to their continuum of care. Zepf Center is a trauma-informed agency and environment for both patients and staff. The Night Shift Unit Manager mirrors the Day Shift position with additional responsibility for maintaining safe and efficient overnight operations when executive leadership and providers are not routinely onsite. The SUD Inpatient Unit Manager is responsible for the overall clinical, operational, and personnel management of the inpatient nursing department during the assigned shift. The Unit Manager provides leadership and oversight for all nursing staff working within Withdrawal Management, Residential, and Crisis Stabilization services while ensuring safe, evidence-based, trauma-informed patient care. This position serves as the clinical leader for the shift and is responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, supporting nursing staff, coordinating patient care with providers, responding to emergencies, ensuring documentation accuracy, and promoting continuous quality improvement. The Unit Manager functions as both a nursing leader and working clinical resource while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, collaboration, and excellence.
