SUD Counselor / SUD Trainee (SUDP/SUDP‑T)
About The Position
Spokane Treatment Center is looking for SUD Counselor / SUD Trainee (SUDP/SUDP‑T) to strengthen our expanding clinical team. This role involves assisting clients in identifying, maximizing, and relating their strengths to appropriate social, educational (academic and vocational), and occupational goals. The position also requires being a beacon of hope for clients as they adjust to a drug-free existence, providing emotional and physical support through their journey. Ensuring clients receive the best care by adhering to program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements is essential. Perform duties with dedication and within the scope of their professional license and certification.
Requirements
- Washington SUDP-T/SUDP licensure.
- Valid driver's license.
- Meet Washington requirements for employment in an opioid treatment program.
- Compliance with federal guidelines regarding prohibited substances, even those legal at the state level.
Responsibilities
- Assisting clients in identifying, maximizing, and relating their strengths to appropriate social, educational (academic and vocational), and occupational goals.
- Providing emotional and physical support to clients as they adjust to a drug-free existence.
- Ensuring clients receive the best care by adhering to program policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
