This position is responsible for delivering cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and substance use disorder (SUD) treatment to clients who meet the criteria for either modality. The role involves providing counseling and case management services to referrals from Adult Probation, including Pre-Trial Services and ACT Court, through in-person and telehealth methods. Key responsibilities include scheduling and completing assessments, preparing progress reports, tracking client attendance and participation, maintaining client files in accordance with agency policies and federal regulations, and communicating with outside agencies regarding client progress. The counselor will also lead daily treatment and education groups on topics such as restorative justice, trauma-informed care, relapse prevention, and social skills. Additionally, the role requires maintaining accurate client data for the WestCare database and attending required staff development and in-service training.
