Subway Food Prep Worker

Requirements
- Experience in food service and cash-handling an asset
- Strong customer service skills and working within a team setting
- Ability to follow directions, work quickly and concisely under pressure, and with minimal supervision
- Must be flexible and adaptable to change
- Knowledge of food prep, proper knife handling, temperature control, and sanitation is helpful.
- Must be able to read and write to facilitate communication with others.
- Demonstrates basic math and counting skills
- This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing.
- This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Responsibilities
- Provide excellent customer service while preparing food orders
- Compile orders accurately and in a timely fashion
- Follows proper food handling procedures, maintains accurate rotation of food to assure top quality and freshness
- Manages leftover foods correctly; cover, label, date, and accurately store according to Aramark standards
- Maintains clean and orderly refrigerators and work areas
- Ensures stations are cleaned, sanitized, and organized at the end of the shift (including cleaning of kitchen equipment)
- Receive payment by cash, debit/credit card and campus card
- Assist with opening/closing of the location
- Keep stations clean and replenished at all times
- Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude towards guest, customers, clients, co-workers, etc.
- Adheres to Aramark safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation
- May perform other job duties as required
