About The Position

The Cashier II is a key member of the store team, primarily responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests. The role serves customers courteously, quickly, and efficiently while processing transactions at a point-of-sale (POS) register and maintaining a clean, well-stocked food and beverage area. The Cashier II also assists with product receiving and unloading, stocks and organizes merchandise on planograms, and helps train lower-level cashiers. The position works in a customer-focused environment and follows safety guidelines while communicating with leaders and coworkers. Other job-related duties may be assigned.

Requirements

Computer/POS knowledge is required.
Cash-handling skills are required.
Good verbal communication skills.
Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and some holidays.

Nice To Haves

At least 2 years of cashier experience preferred.
Merchandising/stocking experience preferred.
A dedicated individual who works well with others and is excited to be part of the team.

Responsibilities

Assist with receiving and unloading products.
Stock and organize merchandise on planograms.
Assist with training lower-level cashiers on job duties and responsibilities.
Prioritize work according to store and management needs.
Know and follow safety guidelines, and report potentially unsafe situations caused by team members or customers.
Establish strong communication and rapport with leaders and coworkers.
Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
