About The Position
Position Summary: Responsible for duties which support reference and reader's advisory services at children and teen public service desks. Duties and Responsibilities Assists patrons at public service desks; helps locate materials; answers reference and reader's advisory questions; instructs patrons in use of all library resources.
Requirements
- Master's degree from an ALA accredited library school with coursework pertaining to public libraries. (Will consider students who have completed at least one year of a MLS/MLIS accredited program).
- Basic knowledge of library operations
- Experience within a library setting
- Completed application, resume, and cover letter are required for consideration.
