About The Position

Provide compassionate care and support to children and young adults with disabilities in classroom, residential, and community settings. Assist with daily living and personal hygiene needs, including bathing, grooming, toileting, dressing, meal assistance, positioning, and transfers while promoting dignity and independence. Support educational, recreational, vocational, and life-skill development activities tailored to each individual’s goals and abilities. Assist teachers and team members in creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment. Encourage community involvement and social participation through outings, activities, and transportation support. Follow individualized care and support plans while responding appropriately to safety concerns and emergencies. Maintain accurate documentation, communicate important updates, and participate in required trainings and team meetings. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalency is required.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record for some positions may be necessary.
  • Some positions may require training/testing to drive accessible vehicles.
  • All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.
