About The Position
Teachers Now is hiring dependable Substitute Teachers to support schools across the Lubbock area. No teaching certification is required. If you have a High School Diploma, Associate's Degree, or 60 College Credit Hours, you may already qualify. As a Substitute Teacher, you will help maintain a positive learning environment when regular teachers are absent by following lesson plans, managing classroom behavior, and supporting student engagement.

Responsibilities
- Deliver classroom instruction using lesson plans provided by the teacher
- Maintain a respectful and organized learning environment
- Manage classroom behavior and encourage participation
- Supervise students during lunch, recess, and transitions
- Assign and review classwork and homework
- Record attendance and communicate concerns to school staff
- Support school staff in maintaining a safe and productive classroom
- For long-term assignments, substitutes may also develop and deliver lesson plans aligned with the school curriculum.
