Catholic Substitute Teacher
About The Position
Regina Caeli Academy (www.rcahybrid.org) is seeking a part-time Substitute Teacher to teach in a classical and Catholic classroom for up to 14 hours per week, as needed. The substitute will be called upon when regular staff are unavailable due to illness, with the flexibility to decline assignments. No teaching certification or formal teaching experience is required, as comprehensive training will be provided. The ideal candidate will have a deep love for the Catholic faith, be able to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church, and possess strong communication skills, good organization, and timeliness. A traditional view of the student/teacher relationship is expected, along with a commitment to living the Catholic faith daily and having received appropriate sacraments. All staff undergo a background check and RCA Safe Child training before teaching. Curriculum and grading guidelines will be provided, and tutors will be trained in RCA's instructional and classroom management standards.
Requirements
- Ability to sign an Oath of Fidelity to the Catholic Church.

- Traditional view of the student/teacher relationship.
- Living the Catholic faith day-to-day, including having received all appropriate sacraments.
- Must complete a background check.
- Must complete RCA Safe Child training.

- Ministry in a Catholic parish.
- Experience teaching Religious Education or Catechism classes.
- Experience teaching one's own children.
- Experience teaching in a classical or private school.
