About The Position
The School District of Onalaska is seeking substitute teachers. This is an on-call position for open teacher positions that occur on an infrequent/daily basis throughout the school year. You choose the hours/days you are available. No nights or weekends, school day only.
Requirements
- Must obtain a current Wisconsin DPI teaching or substitute teaching license.
- A minimum of an associate's degree or bachelor's degree is required.
- Ability to obtain a Wisconsin DPI teaching or substitute teaching license.
Responsibilities
- Substitute teach for open teacher positions.
Benefits
- Pay is $150.00 per full day and $75.00 for a half-day.
- If you sub 20 consecutive days, each day after is at the base teacher rate (2026-27 rate is $274.31 per day).
