About The Position

Central Missouri Community Action (CMCA) is seeking a Full-Time Substitute Teacher to join their Head Start and Early Head Start program. This role involves working with infants and toddlers up to 5 years old, supporting their development through engaging early childhood education. The position is located in the Columbia and Jefferson City Areas and offers a pay rate of $16.31 to $19.57 per hour. CMCA is dedicated to providing quality education and care to children and families, aiming to empower people, strengthen resilience, and improve the quality of life for all community members.

Requirements

  • Requires 60 college credit hours.
  • Experience teaching preschool age children required.
  • Valid driver's license required.

Nice To Haves

  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood, or a related degree with some coursework in Early Childhood, or a CDA.
  • Daycare, preschool, or childcare work experience is helpful.
  • Prefer experience working with low-income families and children.
