About The Position
The Substitute Teacher is an on-call, as-needed role. Opportunities to substitute vary depending on teacher absences. The daily substitute rate is $130.00. This role is not eligible for benefits.
Requirements
- Must meet state requirements for being a substitute teacher.
Responsibilities
- Execute lesson plans assigned by the teacher.
- Provide clear instruction and help scholars understand subject matter while maintaining classroom discipline and control.
- Demonstrate moral focus and personal values to all stakeholders.
- Use effective classroom management and leadership skills, and show initiative and passion for educating students.
