About The Position

This role involves providing instruction and support to students in the absence of a regular teacher. The substitute teacher must be able to manage a classroom, follow directives, and work effectively with students and faculty.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Satisfactory outcome of fingerprinting background check
• Organization skills
• Communication skills
• Ability to work with students of all ages
• Willingness to follow directives
• Two letters of character reference
• Copy of college transcripts
• Copy of applicable teaching certification(s)

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and classroom management in the absence of the regular teacher.
• Work with students of all ages.
• Follow directives from school administration and faculty.
• Maintain a positive and productive learning environment.
