About The Position

Everglades Preparatory Academy is seeking a Substitute Teacher to provide instruction and classroom management in the absence of regular teachers. The substitute teacher will follow established routines, teach prepared lessons, and oversee student behavior during class, lunch, and recess periods. This role requires adherence to school policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Must have 60 hours of secondary education.

Nice To Haves

• Substitute Certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Report to the building principal or school office manager upon arrival.
• Review plans and schedules with the principal, department head, or team leader.
• Maintain established school and classroom routines and procedures.
• Teach lessons outlined in the Substitute Teacher's guide.
• Oversee pupil behavior in class and during lunch and recess periods.
• Submit a written report on the day's activities to the office manager.
• Follow all policies, rules, and procedures applicable to teachers and good teaching practices.
