About The Position
As a Substitute Teacher, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the continuity of instruction when our regular teachers are unavailable. You will be responsible for following lesson plans, maintaining a positive classroom environment, and ensuring the well-being and safety of our students.
Requirements
- Hold an associate degree or higher from an accredited college or university
- Teaching certification or substitute teacher certification.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to different grade levels and subjects.
- Flexibility and reliability.
Responsibilities
- Follow lesson plans provided by the regular classroom teacher.
- Manage classroom behavior and create a positive learning environment.
- Foster a safe and inclusive classroom environment.
- Ensure that all students are engaged in learning.
- Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents as needed.
- Adhere to school policies and procedures.
