Substitute Teachers are responsible for providing a high-quality learning experience that supports children’s physical, social-emotional, and cognitive development. This role includes preparing, implementing, and cleaning up classroom activities; assisting with the arrival and departure of children; and maintaining accurate classroom records. Substitute teachers are expected to communicate professionally and effectively with parents and staff. They must uphold the highest standards of safety and supervision at all times. Substitute teachers may be assigned to Early Learning or School-Age programs and should be flexible to work early morning or evening shifts as needed. Substitute Teachers must claim one shift at least every 3 months.
