About The Position

Eagle Ridge Academy is a tuition-free Classical, College-Preparatory Charter School serving students in grades K-12. We offer an academically rigorous education using a time-tested, Classical, liberal arts curriculum. The purpose of Eagle Ridge Academy is to develop graduates who are critical thinkers, coherent writers, confident speakers, thoughtful leaders, and responsible, compassionate, and virtuous citizens. We are currently accepting applications for short-term substitutes in various grades and subjects, seeking both licensed and unlicensed staff.

Requirements

• Licensed or unlicensed staff will be considered.
• Ability to work with students in various grade levels (K-12).
• Commitment to fostering critical thinking, writing, speaking, leadership, and virtuous citizenship.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in a classical or liberal arts educational setting.
• Familiarity with charter school environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide instruction and supervision to students in various grades and subjects as a short-term substitute.
• Maintain a positive and effective learning environment.
• Follow lesson plans and classroom management strategies as provided by the regular teacher.

Benefits

• Competitive daily pay: $175/day for non-licensed positions (Educational Assistant and Paraprofessional), $190/day for licensed Teacher Substitute positions.
