About The Position
School Professionals is recruiting substitute teachers for assignments in all five boroughs of New York City and/or parts of Long Island. The role may suit camp counselors seeking to increase their classroom teaching experience. Substitute teachers carry out classroom teaching duties, follow school and School Professionals policies, and maintain a clean, safe, and supportive classroom environment. The position is presented by School Professionals, a division of the TemPositions Group of Companies, which offers opportunities with private, charter, Catholic, and independent schools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree.
- At least 3 months of experience in a teaching, childcare, or analogous position with preschool through college students; alternatively, a semester of student teaching, enrollment in a Master’s in Education program, or completion of a Master’s in Education.
