About The Position

This temporary position is responsible for instructing classes to youth, helping them learn the restored gospel of Jesus Christ. The role includes lesson preparation, effective lesson presentation, and potentially teaching multiple classes. The Substitute Teacher works under the direction of a program administrator and should possess a basic understanding of teaching, learning, and working with youth. The ultimate goal of this role is to help youth and young adults deepen their conversion to Jesus Christ and His restored gospel, qualify for the blessings of the temple, and prepare themselves, their families, and others for eternal life with their Father in Heaven.

Requirements

• Basic understanding in teaching
• Basic understanding in learning
• Basic understanding in working with youth
• Must be a member of the Church who is worthy of a temple recommend
