Requirements

• Completed a Bachelor's Degree
• At least 6 months working with students in any setting (classroom, tutoring, coaching, etc.)
• Confident in managing a classroom of students
• Willing to step in where needed
• Pass state & federal background checks
• Able to commute to North Philly
• Believe every child has a unique & powerful gift to share with the world

Responsibilities

• Substitute teach in classrooms, covering lesson plans.
• Act as a positive role model for students.
• Spark a love for learning in students.
• Fulfill needs in classrooms by placing positive role models.
• Potentially engage in lunch/recess supervision, hallway monitoring, tutoring, and proctoring during testing season.
• Add representation in classrooms through unique experiences.
