About The Position
The Lethbridge School Division is currently accepting applications for their Substitute Teacher list. They are seeking dynamic, flexible, and passionate applicants to join their Division classrooms on an on-call basis. Substitute teachers will deliver quality instruction to students across all locations within the Lethbridge School Division, serving a range of programs from Early Education to Grade 12, including French Immersion, Knowledge and Employability, International Baccalaureate (IB), Montessori, Spanish, and various Outreach programs.
Requirements
- Possess or be eligible to obtain an Alberta Teaching Certificate.
- Be available on an on-call/casual basis Monday through Friday.
- Provide a police information check, including Vulnerable Sector Check, with no charges or convictions.
- Provide a satisfactory Intervention Record Check from South Region Alberta Child and Family Services.
- Provide proof of photo identification (e.g., driver’s licence, provincial identification card, passport, Nexus card).
- Provide documentation of a valid Social Insurance Number in the employee’s legal name.
