About The Position

Legacy Christian Academy is a private, PreK-12 Christian school located in Andover, MN, dedicated to academic excellence, spiritual growth, and equipping students for lives of influence in their communities and beyond. We are seeking enthusiastic and adaptable on-call substitute teachers to join our team. As a substitute teacher, you will provide instructional support and classroom management in the absence of regular teachers. This role requires a passion for Christian education, a flexible schedule, and a commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree (in any field).
• Experience working with children in an educational setting.
• Agreement with Legacy Christian Academy’s Statement of Faith.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Classroom and behavior management skills.

Nice To Haves

• Teaching license a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver lesson plans and instructional materials provided by the regular teacher
• Manage classroom behavior to ensure a productive learning environment.
• Maintain effective communication with students, staff, and administration.
• Follow school policies and uphold Legacy Christian Academy’s values and mission.
